Almost finished the boy's hat. Shoulda had it finished about 3 weeks ago, but I kind of forgot about it for a while... But, it's turned out to be a relatively stiff, crocheted top hat, kind of lumpy and seussian looking. I think he'll like it.
I also got the Saturday clues for the Pirate Treasure Hunt this weekend all decoupaged to the boards; they're drying completely overnight, and I'll get the Sunday clues applied to the reverse sides tonight. I've also got to make sure they are all labelled for where they go, and who is going to take them...
Getting them to their appointed places is going to be the most complicated part. At this point, I'm hoping to just make an announcement during morning meeting requesting (insisting) that one adult member from each of the groups with a clue in their area meet me up front AFTER the morning show, to get their clue and instructions on where to deliver it...
And I'm getting ready (as is everyone else on TRF cast) to start the hell week, consisting of School Days week bookended by two of our biggest busiest weekends... I'm tired already just thinking about it.
There's so many things that I WANT to do but don't have time for: I wanted to remake my pirate bloomers, I wanted to carve pumpkins with my roommate (she's never done that before!?!), I wanted to have Mary's baby blanket done by now, and I've fallen completely out of the loop for the baby shower. And then there's the boy...
*sigh*
